The Quarter Finals of the Tipster Cup end with the following scores: Joe 0 - Christian 8 Andreas 7 - Robert 8 Tino 13 - André 10 Axel 10 - Rachel 10 Christian eases to victory over Joe. Robert narrowly beats Andreas, by just one point. André - 2020 Tipster Cup winner, and long-time leader of the 2022 Tipster League - is defeated by Tino. Axel and Rachel drew 10:10. Therefore this clause of the rules comes into effect: " In the event that two opponents score the same number of points in a Cup round, the number of points they scored in the previous round will decide who goes through to the next round. " In Round 1, Axel scored 38 points and Rachel also scored 38 points. During the Preliminary Round, Axel scored 24 points and Rachel scored 32. This means that Rachel narrowly beats Axel and proceeds to the Semi Finals of the Tipster Cup!
